If you read Saturday's post you must have been dying to see how this baway swipper thing worked out - who wouldn't. Well, you'll all be happy to know that Miss Evy did get baway swippers, and, as it would happen, I too some how ended up with baway, I mean ballet flats, not exactly slippers, but how could I pass up this ridiculously cute plaid. I'm human folks, a mere mortal. There's only so much I can handle. Evy is currently squealing with complete delight to see the picture of our feet as I type this post. I'm glad to know that at least for now, it's the little things that bring her so much joy.
And, I just wanted you to see my beautiful, wonderful bike that Steve got for me about 1 & 1/2 years ago. This picture was taken in the fall so I have mums in the basket. As for how I got this bike, Steve reads me like a 3rd grade chapter book. He knows what I want before I utter a word, and often before I ever think it on my own. I got a winner and a half with him and he'll never know life without me, as long as I can help it. Ehem, right, the bike - okay. The type of bike is a Raleigh and I've included a link. I don't think they make it in black any longer - I didn't see it on the website. The amazing basket is from Cynthia's Twigs. You can choose from a blue liner or red. I LOVE this bike. Oh, and I got a little bell to go on it as well (I had to have a bell or I might as well not even bothered - I'm sure you understand (wink)).
Like Evy and her baway swippers, it's the little things that get me excited too. A bike from my sweetie, a basket, some flowers, things that make me smile - the kind of smile that makes my eyes squinch up. Best wishes to you all.
