I am so very ready for the weekend, a long weekend with laziness, and TV watching, and puttering about doing this and that - time spent with my family and really enjoying every minute, just soaking it all in. I'd like to get new cushions for the chairs outside, and then I'd like to sit in the chairs and read, and read, and read. Pure Bliss. And speaking of "bliss", I just got the book "Domestic Bliss", and have started reading it, in addition to another new book, "A French Country Murder".
Just a few pictures to share. I'm sure you recognize the entry. I've added a new cloche to the table. And a couple of old bags. The black one happens to be my dad's, which is filled to the brim with his stamp collection.
Cookie cutters abound.
Wishing you the best of long weekends, and the safest too. Hope there is a lot of reading, relaxing, and family time for all of you as well.

Awwwww, maaaaaaan!!
Now I need to "officially" visit your blog - I've popped in every once in a while, but since you were sweet enough to comment at mine (AND because we are both Twin Citians) I must make you a "favorite".
See, if you're not an official favorite, I pretend that I don't NEED to visit your blog every day and that my blogging sites are not growing by the second. Then I don't have a problem with my blog addiction......See? I can quit anytime I want! Right? RIGHT!?
By the way.....LOVE your site, your house, your decorating, everything!
And I have that exact same butter bell. Love it. Helps me consume more butter. I mean, who can eat hard butter, right? Right. Butter is delicious.
Okay. Now I'll compulsively check your blog every day. Thanks for that. Ha haa :)
xoxo,
Martha
