Rosemary

Hi,
I hope you don't catch the YUCKY cold. I managed not to catch my husbands cold 2 weeks ago. Sometimes you luck out.
Your kitchen is so pretty and cozy. It looks like a magazine. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures with us here in blogland.
Have a great week!
Rosemary
p.s. Stay healthy.

Jennifer

I found your blog while on Southern Heart and I do have to say I enjoyed my visit very much! Your home is so lovely. I hope the sickness in your home passes quickly. Have a wonderful week.

I recently discovered your blog and could tell right away that I would have to bookmark this one. After reading a few posts I was surprised to hear you mention Buffalo. I live in western Mn and discovered the Buffalo occasional sales a couple of years ago. I'm a teacher so it's difficult to go often as you really have to get there on Thursday. Anyway, I'm going this Thursday(school's out!) with my sister and her girls and it will be a first time for them. We're very excited to go but now the weather looks so threatening. I hope it doesn't interfere with our plans. :( I look forward to reading your blog in the future!!! Thanks for the inspiring photo's! Laurie

So sorry you're sick too! We've been fighting this junk forever! Somehow, if my kitchen were as pretty as yours, I doubt I would have the cabin fever I am experiencing!

Hang in there!!

Jen

I love your kitchen. I especially love the platters over the windows! Yummy.

Gail

beautiful as usual Allison! your kitchen is gorgeous...

Karla

Hi Allison!
I hope you don't get sick. It is always such a bummer when others around you get it and you just kind of sit there thinking "Okay, when its going to hit me?" Hopefully you do have an iron strong immune system full of Vitamin C and all the other good stuff to fight off illness! Your kitchen is lovely. I also love your rugs. They compliment the wall colors and the cabinetry very nicely.

You are the first to tell me about a salt pig!
I hope all of your family gets well and stays well!

Beautiful photos Allison! Your kitchen looks so warm and welcoming! Very inviting, and truly how I've always imagined an American kitchen to be!! I especially like your floor with the two rugs, and your picnic basket looks fab!
Hope you don't get ill too- at school, germs are surrounding me also, and I'm convinced that I am about to catch something-fingers crossed we don't!!

Lizzie

My favorite is the breakfast room- I love a bright airy room for breakfast- its the perfect way to begin the day!

Your moms basket looks lovely in the kitchen, too.

The Feathered Nest

I love all those windows! It's great that you get so much natural light. Hope you stay well!

Allison,
Seems like alot of people are battling the bug. Keep fighting the good fight.
White is my favorite color for kitchen cupboards and yours are beautiful. It's just such a clean look.
We use sea salt too and need a place to put it so I'm excited about the salt pig. Thanks for the tip.

Hope all the invalids are getting better and that you manage to steer clear of all the bugs. Your breakfast nook is lovely with those big windows looking over the garden. What a great place to start the day.

Lallee

I love everything about your kitchen. The WS island is the perfect size for that spot. I love your open windows in the breakfast room~what a beautiful view~I would linger there all day ;-)

I drank tons of Airborne for the first time when my husband developed a nasty airlines cold. I never did get sick and have no clue if it was the Airborne that saved me, but lots of people swear by it. Stay well and pass the kleenex with a lonnnnnnng arm.

Aina
