What a great idea! I used to write in journals all the time. That reminds me - burn those those before anyone finds them. This gives me a little incentive to start writing again.

Thanks!
Love,
Julie

It's fantastic!! Wow, I'm impressed! I especially love the glittery bits and the bookmark is wonderful!! I feel quite inspired now myself!
Hope your hair goes well- I love getting my hair done too, don't you find that for some reason it's blissful to let someone else wash it when you've got long hair?
Have a wonderful day Allison!! xx

I too am inspired by your journal, I think I would enjoy making one but know that I wouldn't keep up any entries!

Penny

What a wonderful journal you created! I am inspired and might just try one myself!

Love the bookmark too.

Have fun getting your hair cut...Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Its really lovely! I like how all of the pieces came together so well.

Its starting to feel like fall around here too--yay! Crisp breezes & perfect blue skies--heaven!

Your journal is very special. I love the little girl...she looks kind of "up to no good." I really like to use the composition books for journals. I've sewn book covers for them in the past...I find myself more comfortable using fabrics than paper.

The bookmark is such a beautiful little gem of artistry! It is really lovely. The journal is as well, but I can't get over the piece of perfection that is the bookmark! Great work! Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

Allison- I love the journal and tag book mark, I have been so inspired lately to create. There is nothing better than getting your hair done. I got a much needed cut Friday. I felt so good when I was done. I have so much hair and it grows like those horrible weeds in my yard. Can't wait to see your finished products with your new finds. I found a couple thins today. Next week I am going to a family wedding in Illinois. I am checking out a warehouse full of antiques from Europe. Check out her site
on my site. She was featured in Country Living and
has beautiful taste.

You did a fabulous job with the journal and tag bookmark Allison. Aren't they such fun - and inexpensive which makes them even nicer. I showed my granddaughter how to make one during vacation - she loved creating it so much.
Thanks for all your kind comments today - I always love hearing from you. Sweaters, jackets........oh how lucky you are! I can't wait, so even though it's too hot for them here, I'm picking out warmer clothes ready to pack for England. Got to be warm and hopefully dry while taking pics of all those cottages/villages/thatched taverns and pubs over there!
Have a super week.
Hugs - Mary.

What a lovely journal! I can see that you had great fun making it, too. :) Although I don't scrapbook, I love those Martha Stewart supplies, and think I might try to embellish some chandelier shades with that ribbon! Thanks for the inspiration!
