I am so, SO jealous of those precious bookends, especially! Everything is lovely. Hope you have a great weekend! I think a picture of those "baway swippers" would be precious!

How funny! I just picked up that "All About Home Baking" book at a flea market last weekend! It has some really good looking recipes in there. I'm torn as whether to keep it or sell it.

Love those bookends too--all great finds!

Robin Sherwood

What great books. I love to get ideas from such classic books as these.

I love your finds! Especially those bookends!;)

found art in cookbooks..a lovely thought!
thanks for sharing...

I seem to be on a book buying spree as the graphics in some of them! Don't have the heart to cut them and use them those bookends!

Hey Allie - I think those bookends were made for you! I can't believe you found some that were scottie dogs - at least that is what they look like. AND - I can hardly wait to see those new "baway swippers" - we may all need to get some!!! Love, Mom

Hi Allison...sorry to say I never did make it over to the Gathering of Friends show..I feel bad, I miss seeing my friends. Had a busy Sat., took my Mom and sisters to see the play Church basement ladies at the Plymouth playhouse...have you been? it is very funny. Glad to see you found some goodies! Aren't the booths set up great? my friend Jan Berg's is my favorite booth, it is called Summerspell and she is set up in the main room back corner...gorgeous! I wish I could of gotten over there to take some pictures...take care,Gail

The Feathered Nest

Love those doggie bookends and the blue towel with the sweet lace!

Got my bell jar - thanks again for the link to English Creek Gardens!

Those are some very nice finds...I had quite a haul from yardsaling this weekend & will be posting on Monday. You did good, love the bookends & the old books are wonderful.

Looks like you had some nice finds - I love the title of The Cat of Bubastes - sounds as though it might be a good story. Did Evy get her 'baway swippers'? It would be lovely to see her as a 'baway dancer':)

Hi Allie,
I love the bookends! I have a thing for antique dog stuff. Looks like you had a great time. Have fun shoe shopping!

Oh what wonderful bookends and books. It sounds like an amazing show!

Lovely. The Cat Of Bubastes is the best of G. A. Henty books. My daughters enjoyed it. Clarice
