I spent a bit of time crafting this weekend. This is what I made.
I'm not sure if you can tell, but there are two pockets, and within each pocket are tags that I made, and little bits of this and that for embellishment The paper and the template for the hanging pockets is from Paper Bella. I really enjoyed making the tags and deciding what to put on each one. I sort of felt obsessed about it - I even dreamt about making tags last night - and then thought about it all day today :o)
Here are some close ups of the tags.
I really love the colors, the patterns, and the embellishments
And one more.
I'm going to make a crown next - stay tuned for that!
That is so beautiful !!! I love all the clors !! The little birdy is so sweet !!!

I'm not surprised you were "feverish" about this art project it is beautiful and what lovely craft supplies you had to work with. I've got lots of vintage paper supplies that I really must do something with, maybe I should make up some "inspiration packs" for etsy.

Allison,
I was reading your blog, tonite, and wanted to tell you that you have solved a mystery for me! On your post where you show the pics of your bookcase, you tell about the stamp holder that came from a post office.
I bought one of those at the Salvation Army about five years, ago, along with an old ruler and two staplers.
For the life of me, I never knew the function of that holder. Yahoo, now, I know!
I have old postcards in mine, but I am happy to be able to tell people it's true funciton.
